Environmental Monitoring


Webb environmental monitoring products permit you to actively monitor the conditions in BTS stations, warehouses, datacenters, colleges /educational institutes, hospitals, offices, restaurants, farmsteads, factories, museums or wherever it is essential to have a climate controlled environment. Upholding a constant & steady environment where equipment or products are housed is critical for operation, protection and usage in various industries. Conditions monitoring consist of temperature, humidity, power spikes and surges, liquid leakage, SNMP traps from other devices along with smoke & airflow.


Webb environmental monitoring equipment allows network machinists to detect conditions from a secure Web interface and obtain SNMP, E-mails, and text message or siren/alert warnings when environmental sensors detect a breach in the preset thresholds. These products can also make you cognizant of the potential damages from critical failures. The Web interface can demonstrate live video surveillance and environmental magnitudes, which are logged to track patterns.


Preserve Optimum Temperature

This unit accomplishes three functions together. The unit has a PIR detection with a range of upto 12 meters which can alert the user of any movement within the PIR zone. The unit doubles up as a temperature and humidity monitor as well.


This unit can be added into any cabinet or rack to convert a normal rack into a smart rack with the features to monitor movement, temperature as well as humidity. A passive infrared sensor (PIR sensor) is an electronic sensor that measures infrared (IR) light radiating from objects in its field of view.

Application

All areas where intruder alert or added security is required for the climate controlled location. The user can set thresholds on the lowest and highest permissible temperatures as well as desired humidity. Once the temperature or humidity in the environment is found to fall below or above the set threshold, the user will get alerts intimating the breach from the primary monitoring device.
