Webb’s Cable Rollers are widely utilized for pulling underground cables into trenches across several
industries including the utility and electricity supply industries. Our range includes straight, corner, triple and specialist rollers.
To prevent the cable from incurring damage due to being dragged on the trench bottom or in mud,
straight cable runs are pulled in using straight rollers suitably placed in the trench. The spacing of
cable rollers depends on the type of cable being installed and the pulling tension along the route.
A leading roller is used to support the cable over the entire drum width, immediately before being fed
or pulled into the trench. The use of cable rollers delivers substantial efficiencies with regards to time
and effort, increasing cable support and labour productivity.
