Webb fibre optic scribe/ cleaver is a high quality ruby blade for scoring fibre conductors prior to breaking and polishing. Its non-slip grip provides precise control during scribing and its modular design makes it simple to use.
Webb fibre optic striper is designed to easily strip 1.6mm to 3mm jackets, down to the 600micron and 900micron buffer coating of fibre optic cables. It also consists of specific indents to access 125-micron bare fibre from cables. It can strip wires without scratching or otherwise damaging the cores within the fibre cable.
Webb hand polishing discs enable you to achieve quality end face finishes and consistent results while polishing
fibre optic connectors. When polishing delicate fibres, the polishing discs enable the operator to achieve precise
terminations without damaging the fibre.
Included with:
Webb kevlar cutting scissors are lightweight and designed to cut through the tough yarn found within fibre optic
cables. The blades are made of high carbon alloy steel with vanadium and molybdenum which provides the
cutting edge with extra durability. The handles are made of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) for effective
handling.
Size (LxW): 140mm x 70mm
Webb polishing sheets are consistent and uniform, providing repeatable connector finishes on ceramic, stainless
steel, plastic and composite fibre ferrules.
Available sizes: 3”x 6” and 4.5”x 5.5”
Material: aluminium oxide and silicon carbide
Available grits (microns): 0.3 - white, 1 - light blue, 3 - pink, 5 – light grey, 9 - blue, 12 - yellow, and 15 – dark grey
Webb syringes are used for injecting connectors with epoxy to secure fibre terminations. It consists of a 0.9mm needle and comes in sets of 5/pack.
